Help for Dyslexia

It was great to see the article on the Learning Without Limits workshop, Leader July 18.

Dyslexia is a hidden disability so it is easy for it to be missed by parents, teachers and other professionals.

As a dyslexia therapist working in Kingsgrove, I see many young people and even adults who get depressed and anxious because of their dyslexia.

Technology is a great asset for those whose problems were not picked up early. The UN, the EU and the UK Government have all recognised that Intensive systematic, multi-sensory phonics is the best treatment for dyslexia.Unfortunately this can be out of the reach of many families.
